Custom. Local. Craftsmanship.
My name is Bryan Kurty. I own and operate OWC Woodworks—a small, local custom cabinet shop. I grew up in central Pennsylvania and appreciate hard work and handmade items. From the time I started building with Legos as a kid to eventually tinkering around in my dad’s garage and hammering some boards together, I’ve always enjoyed envisioning something and then figuring out how to build it.
As a cabinet-maker, I am passionate about precision tools and quality craftsmanship. These dual passions combine to produce the soil in which my custom projects grow. Adding quality materials and dependable hardware, along with your ideas, gives us the means to accomplish fantastic results. I learned early on the value of hard work, honesty and doing things the right way. I carry those same lessons with me into all that I do in my shop and in your home.
Why choose OWC Woodworks?
From the initial touchpoint to project completion, I give your project my personal attention. Starting with an in-person consultation, I will work with you to design and build whatever custom piece you have in mind, whether for your home or business. As an owner-operator with no employees, I personally oversee each phase of your project, ensuring that the finished product meets the highest standards of quality. I’m also the one who personally handles any issues that may arise. As you can see from these pictures, all of my projects are made right in my shop.

What does OWC stand for?
OWC stands for One Way Construction. I spent several years doing remodeling and general construction and formed a limited-liability company under the name One Way Construction. When I began to specialize in custom cabinetry and finish work, I established the trade name OWC Woodworks to help focus the build changes. OWC Woodworks still functions under the LLC, but with a focus on custom finish work.
